Renowned for her dramatic physicality and unflinchingly candid performances, Ivanochko’s carefully crafted solo works examine how certain cultural representations are embedded in the female body, using familiar movement associated with North American pop culture icons of the 20th and 21st Century to encourage audiences to question the very nature of these views.
