In Residency at the Bogliasco Center

Greetings from the Ligurian coast!

I’m delighted to be writing today from my beautiful private studio at the Bogliasco Center in Italy. I’m spending a month here to deepen my studio research, with dedicated time and space to experiment with new movement ideas and explore a durational structuring framework.

This residency feels both luxurious and essential after the whirlwind pace I’ve kept as an arts worker since just before the Covid pandemic—and after my recent decision to return to school to train as a psychotherapist. I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to be a Fellow among such an exceptional international cohort in this truly sublime location.

Even the picture of the view from the Center’s main building doesn’t fully capture the daily panorama I’m lucky to enjoy. I look forward to sharing glimpses of my work soon.
